Romanesque homes in San Antonio use lots of natural stone columns both inside and out.  The exterior is usually stucco and can be painted with brighter colors.  Lots of high arches dyeing into large round columns with wide bases.  There are usually areas with large stone handrails and porches separated again by arches and columns.  On the inside the ceiling have lots of details using groin vaults landing on stone columns against rounded walls.  The floors are natural stones in patterns that will mimic the ceiling and wall details throughout the home.  Light fixtures are most often very ornate and low hanging and dramatic.  The master most often features a large tube with high standing vanities.  On the outside the pools are usually free-formed pools with lots of high walls and fountains.
